We taste rich milk chocolate and almond flavor along with a juicy body in this Honduras medium roast.

Many of the coffee shops we provide for use this bean for their espresso.

Description

Sourcing Details:

Ludwing Aguilar produced this micro-lot on a 100-acre farm called El Alto located in the municipality of La Labor in the department of Ocotepeque.  Ludwing uses his own micro-mill to process harvested cherries, which allows for meticulous care in depulping, fermenting, and drying the coffee.  During the harvest he employs 50 people.

The Exporter

Ludwing collaborates with an export company called BICAFE, which operates a warehouse and dry mill in Santa Rosa de Copan.  Weather conditions in Santa Rosa are ideal for storing parchment, and the dry mill is specifically designed for sorting micro-lots.  The partnership has helped to improve quality, increase earnings from coffee sales, and strengthen the family’s livelihood.

Recieved as a gift from Eagle Crest nursery in El Jebel. Fantastic coffee, grounds smell amazing. Solid flavor, not too strong but a wonderful wakeup.
